bearbrick-bape-x-van-gogh-museum-almond-blossom-shark-100-400
BE@RBRICK BAPE® × Van Gogh Museum Almond Blossom Shark (100%+400%)

When the Japanese streetwear empire A Bathing Ape meets one of the most famous paintings in art history, the result is a collector's piece that unites two worlds. This collaboration between BAPE® and the Van Gogh Museum showcases Vincent van Gogh's iconic "Almond Blossom" from 1890: the delicate work with blossoming branches against a turquoise-blue sky that van Gogh painted for his newborn nephew. Translated into the unmistakable design language of BAPE®, the quiet masterpiece becomes a powerful statement that effortlessly fuses art history and hype culture.

The figure is based on what is probably the best-known BAPE® motif: the Shark hoodie with its distinctive zip running down the centre of the head and body, and the shark teeth printed on the face. Over this lies the delicate almond blossom motif in white, pale pink and soft turquoise, while the back picks up BAPE®'s famous ABC Camo texture in shades of blue. The body features the "BAPE®" logo, the "@" symbol and a woven Van Gogh Museum label, and the original "Vincent" signature adorns the back of the figure. Black arms and legs set a clear contrast to the dreamy floral print.

The set comes in the popular mixed-size format, combining a compact 100% figure with an imposing 400% version standing around 28 cm tall. This gives you two formats at once that show off the motif at different scales: the large figure as an eye-catcher, the small one as a charming companion. As an official collaboration between three cultural icons, this model is a special object for fans of streetwear, pop art and classical painting alike.

Whether as the centrepiece of your collection, a decorative eye-catcher on your shelf or a thoughtful gift for connoisseurs of both worlds, this Bearbrick combines Van Gogh's poetic imagery with the rebellious spirit of BAPE®. Secure this extraordinary meeting of museum and street for yourself.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0843/3133/1850/files/bearbrick-bape-x-van-gogh-museum-almond-blossom-shark-100-400-schraeg.webp?v=1792844648
