bearbrick-series-2-basic-100
BE@RBRICK Series 2 Basic (100%)

With the Bearbrick from Series 2, you're bringing home an authentic piece of collecting history. Released in 2001, Series 2 is one of Medicom Toy's earliest releases, marking the beginnings of a cult figure that now delights millions of collectors worldwide. This Basic Letter Bearbrick features a warm peach-orange color that beautifully contrasts with the pink letter on the chest. The soft, almost pastel color scheme gives the figure a friendly and approachable aura, typical of the pared-back designs of the early series.

The Basic Letter concept has been an integral part of every release since the first series: Nine different figures each carry a letter that together spells out the word "Bearbrick." This variant features one of the letters from this iconic series and, with a frequency of approximately 14.58% within the blind box assortment at the time, represents one of the more accessible versions of the series. Nevertheless, its historical value is immense today, as Series 2 dates back to a time when Bearbricks were just beginning to build their global fan base.

The classic 100% size, measuring 7 cm tall, offers eight points of articulation: a rotating head, a rotating waist, movable arms with ball joints, rotating wrists, and movable legs. This sophisticated design makes every Bearbrick more than just a display figure. For collectors who value originality and history, a Bearbrick from the early 2000s is an absolute must-have. You're not only securing a design object with a minimalist aesthetic, but also a testament to designer toy culture that represents the roots of this global collecting movement.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0843/3133/1850/files/bearbrick-series-2-basic-letter-100-herstellerbild.webp?v=1760028203
