BE@RBRICK Series 52 – 30 Years of Medicom Toy and the Strongest Line-up of the Year

There are series you buy – and then there are series you wait for. BE@RBRICK Series 52 definitely falls into the latter category. In 2026, Medicom Toy celebrates its 30th anniversary, and the Japanese manufacturer is using the occasion for a lineup that is more diverse than almost ever before: four in-house basic types meet an unusually strong block of licensed characters from current cinema, cult comics, gaming history, and Japanese pop culture.

Theme BASIC: Golden Glow for the Anniversary

Traditionally, the Basic type kicks things off – this time in elegant champagne gold with the distinctive white letter on its chest (bottom left). As a cornerstone of every series, the Basic represents a letter from the "BE@RBRICK" lettering. For the 30th anniversary, the metallic shimmering gold tone is perfect: simple, iconic, and a must-have for any serious collection.

Theme JELLYBEAN: Rainbow Over a Green Landscape

The Jellybean type (top right) thrives on translucency – and this variant takes it a step further: a luminous rainbow stretches through its clear, smoky-blue body, while a small landscape with green meadows and a cloudy sky is printed on its feet. A playful, almost poetic design that looks particularly beautiful in the light.

Theme PATTERN: Amber Grain in Warm Tones

The Pattern type covers the entire Bearbrick with an organic grain in honey, caramel, and brown tones, reminiscent of polished amber or cut agate (bottom left). The warm, swirling bands make every part of the figure unique – a calm, high-quality counterpoint to the loud licensed motifs of the series.

Theme FLAG: Albania and its Double-Headed Eagle

This time, the Flag type features Albania: a strong red, with the black, double-headed eagle on its chest – one of Europe's oldest and most striking heraldic symbols. Simple, powerful, and a welcome piece for all who are completing their Flag series, country by country.

Theme SF: He-Man, the Most Powerful Man in the Universe

He-Man (bottom left) from Masters of the Universe returns as a Bearbrick – with blonde bangs, breastplate, and the iconic heroic pose. Mattel's science-fantasy saga around the planet Eternia has captivated generations since 1982, and with the current revival of the brand, this figure hits the zeitgeist. Theme HERO: Supergirl in New DC Splendor

As the only pure Hero figure in the series, Supergirl (top right) makes an appearance – Kara Zor-El in her classic blue and red costume with the gold-framed S-shield. Probably the hottest entry in the series: the Saja Boys (bottom left) from Netflix's surprise hit KPop Demon Hunters (2025). The demonic idol boy group – antagonists to the heroines of HUNTR/X – are depicted as Bearbricks with glam makeup, ombré hair, and a stage look. Theme ARTIST: "B" from BRZRKR – Keanu Reeves' Immortal Warrior

BRZRKR (top right) is the brutal comic hit created by Keanu Reeves with Matt Kindt and Ron Garney: the story of "B" (Unute), a demigod warrior who has roamed history for 80,000 years with an insatiable lust for battle.
