In February 2015, a British-American action comedy redefined the spy genre: Kingsman: The Secret Service, directed by Matthew Vaughn, presented a secret intelligence organization that had been protecting the world since 1849 – disguised as a bespoke tailor shop on London's legendary Savile Row. The inspiration for this stylish spy thriller came during a fitting: Vaughn, a long-time customer of the renowned tailor Huntsman (11 Savile Row), imagined what might be hidden behind the wood-paneled walls of the fitting room. When his friend Pierre Lagrange bought Huntsman in 2013, the fantasy became reality – the actual Huntsman facade served as the film set, and the second fitting room became the "Kingsman Room."

At the heart of the film is Harry Hart, Agent Galahad of the Kingsman, played by Colin Firth. An Oscar winner for The King's Speech, Firth was previously known primarily for distinguished, understated roles – his transformation into an action hero in a tailored double-breasted suit surprised critics and audiences alike. Firth performed 80 percent of his own stunts and embodies Harry Hart as the perfect symbiosis of British courtesy and deadly precision. "Manners make a man" is his motto, which he calmly utters before incapacitating a group of thugs in a pub. His second credo: "A suit is the modern gentleman's armor."
