Product description

With this Bearbrick from the legendary Series 4 from August 2002, you'll bring a piece of collecting history to your shelf. The Basic Letter Series is the signature centerpiece of each series: Nine different figures each bear a colored letter on their chest, which together form the "Bearbrick" logo. These models feature a restrained, elegant color scheme with a soft gray body accentuated by a bright blue letter on the chest. The matte finish gives the figure a particularly high-quality appearance and perfectly showcases the clear design language of the iconic bear design.

The Basic Letter variants, with a rarity of 14.58 percent, are the most common figures in the blind boxes, making them an ideal entry point for new collectors. At the same time, they embody the purist design ethos that Medicom Toy established with the Bearbrick line. The minimalist design, with the single letter as the sole graphic element, follows the Japanese aesthetic of "Ma" – the deliberate emptiness that leaves room for contemplation. Series 4 also marked an important milestone, as it was the first time that legendary artists such as KAWS and manga artist Mitsuta Inoue were integrated, leaving a lasting mark on Bearbrick culture.

For you, this model represents more than just a collectible figure: You receive a timeless design classic that embodies the DNA of the entire Bearbrick series. Whether as the starting point for your collection, a display highlight, or the completion of your Basic Letter set, this Bearbrick combines nostalgia with timeless elegance, transforming any shelf into a curated exhibition of Japanese toy art culture.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there's no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector's item in its own right and important for preserving the model's value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colors and material over time and ensure long-term value retention.

How quickly will my order be shipped and how long will delivery take?

Orders received by 2:00 PM on weekdays (11:00 AM on Saturdays) will be shipped the same day via DHL. Delivery within Germany typically takes 1 to 2 business days. Deliveries to other EU countries or Switzerland typically take 2 to 4 business days. You will always receive a tracking number so you can check the status of your delivery at any time.

How much are the shipping costs for this Bearbrick?

We offer free shipping within the European Union for orders over €75. For orders below this amount, we charge a flat shipping fee of €4.90 for deliveries within Germany and €7.90 for other EU countries. For customers in Switzerland or UK, the shipping fee is CHF 10.00 or GBP 10.00 respectively, with a minimum order value of CHF 75 or GBP 75. We cover all customs duties and import taxes for you.

What payment options do I have?

At MyBearBrick.de you can pay securely and conveniently using various payment methods, including PayPal, Klarna (purchase on account), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express).

What happens if I don't like the Bearbrick or it arrives damaged?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If, contrary to expectations, you don't like a Bearbrick or it's damaged, you have a 30-day free return policy. Simply contact us by phone, email, or chat, and we'll send you a prepaid DHL return label. Once we receive your return, we'll, of course, refund the full purchase price, including any shipping costs.

Will I receive a certificate of authenticity for this Bearbrick?

For all Bearbricks 200% and larger (including 100%+400% sets), we at Zaiser Art Gallery issue an additional Certificate of Authenticity for your records. This underscores our commitment and conviction to offering only genuine Medicom Toy products.

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy's production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
