Bearbrick Black Smurf [The Smurfs] 400% mit Verpackung — With the original Medicom Toy packaging

The Black Smurf is one of the most iconic and simultaneously most sinister characters from Peyo's Smurfs universe. In the very first Smurfs story, "The Black Smurfs" from 1959, a harmless Smurf is bitten by a mysterious fly and transforms into an aggressive, blackened creature that infects other Smurfs through its bites. This early zombie tale was far ahead of its time and made the Black Smurf a legend among comic fans. Medicom Toy is now reviving this iconic character as a Bearbrick, combining the nostalgia of the Belgian comic classic with the modern collectible figure.

The design of this Bearbricks perfectly captures the menacing charm of Black Smurf. The face on the headpiece displays his signature grim expression with clenched teeth, furrowed brows, and bright red eyes, giving the character his unmistakable aggression. The infected Smurf's black skin is rendered in a rich, high-gloss black across the entire torso, arms, and head. The Bearbricks' semi-transparent ears cleverly mimic Smurf's white hat, adding a subtle three-dimensional depth to the design. From the waist down, the design transitions to brilliant white, replicating classic Smurf trousers. A charming detail on the back is the characteristic little Smurf tail, represented as a black dot – a detail that true connoisseurs will instantly recognize.

At 400% scale, this Bearbrick reaches an impressive height of approximately 28 cm, making it a perfect centerpiece for any display case or shelf. The striking black and white contrast with its distinctive red eyes makes this figure a real eye-catcher that instantly draws attention. For fans of the Smurfs, lovers of classic European comics, and Bearbrick collectors alike, this model represents a rare crossover between two collector worlds.

Whether as the centerpiece of a Smurfs collection, an addition to your Bearbrick collection, or an exceptional gift for comic fans – the Black Smurf combines retro charm with timeless collector's value. Secure this special piece before it's gone.

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there’s no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector’s item in its own right and important for preserving the model’s value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colours and material over time.

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy’s production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
