Product description

The abbreviation F.C.R.B. stands for F.C. Real Bristol, a fictional football club that Hirofumi Kiyonaga created as the sports line of his Tokyo label SOPH. The brand combines the aesthetic of classic football shirts with the pared-back look of Japanese streetwear and has long enjoyed cult status among fashion insiders. With the BE@RBRICK F.C.R.B. SOPH. TOKYO 23 (100%+400%), Medicom Toy brought this club to the iconic bear figure in 2022, sending the Bearbrick onto the pitch in the full club kit.

The entire body is finished in deep black with a matt finish that swallows every reflection and makes the graphics stand out all the more clearly. The head is deliberately kept plain, as the focus belongs to the shirt: on the left of the chest sits a red number 23 with a fine white outline, with the SOPH. lettering beneath it, and to the right the white diamond emblem bearing the word Bristol. Below this, the italic F.C.R.B. lettering in white runs across the torso. On the back, the football shirt idea is carried through consistently: SOPH. appears there like a player's name above a large red 23 in typical shirt-number style. The legs also pick up the motif, one bearing the Bristol emblem and the other the 23 together with the SOPH. line, just like printed players' shorts.

The set combines two sizes with an identical design. The 100% Bearbrick measures around 7 cm and makes a compact companion for your desk or display cabinet. The 400% Bearbrick reaches approximately 28 cm in height and shows off the shirt details, the red back number and the contrast between matt black and brilliant white on a large scale. Displayed together, the two figures look like the player and mascot of the same team.
