Product description

In 1993, a new hero entered the Japanese tokusatsu scene: Gridman, the electric superhero from the computer world. Created by Tsuburaya Productions, the series Denkou Choujin Gridman marked a milestone in the history of the production studio, which had already made television history with Ultraman. As the first Tsuburaya production to utilize revolutionary D-2 digital video technology for special effects, Gridman redefined the visual language of the genre. The story, about three computer-obsessed teenagers who discover an interdimensional police officer inside their homemade video game character, captivated audiences for a whole decade before the internet revolution with its visionary cyberspace adventures.

This Bearbrick captures the iconic design of the title character in stunning detail. The silver-metallic head features Gridman's signature features, including the distinctive yellow eyes and golden forehead, at the center of which glows the blue Beam Lamp power center. The transparent ears accentuate the cybernetic aesthetic. The body is presented in the classic color combination of vibrant red, silver, and white, accented with light blue on the chest and abdomen. Detailed black lines trace the mechanical armor structure, while the back, with its intricately designed panels and technical features, completes the futuristic design.
