Product description

In 2008, one of cinema history's greatest adventure sagas returned with Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull: 19 years after The Last Crusade, Harrison Ford once again donned the fedora of the whip-wielding archaeologist under the direction of Steven Spielberg. The film centers on a mysterious crystal skull, inspired by real legends surrounding supposedly pre-Columbian quartz skulls, which leads Indy to the fabled city of Akator. Medicom Toy transforms precisely this iconic artifact into a Bearbrick.

The entire body of the figure is made of translucent, slightly bluish shimmering plastic, mimicking the crystalline appearance of the film's skull. A silver printed skull face with striking eye sockets and teeth adorns the head, while the torso features a detailed skeleton motif with a ribcage – as if you were looking directly into the translucent artifact. The official movie logo is printed on the back, and the ball chain typical for the 70% format makes the approximately 5 cm tall figure a portable companion for a keychain or bag.

The Bearbrick was released in November 2008 as a strictly limited bonus item: Those who pre-ordered the film's DVD in Japan from participating retailers received the figure from Paramount Japan as a free gift – while supplies lasted. It was never sold regularly, which now makes it a sought-after piece for collectors of the series.

Whether as an addition to your movie Bearbricks or as a tribute to Indy's fourth adventure: You don't have to retrieve this small crystal artifact from a temple first – a click is all it takes.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there's no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector's item in its own right and important for preserving the model's value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colors and material over time and ensure long-term value retention.

How quickly will my order be shipped and how long will delivery take?

Orders received by 2:00 PM on weekdays (11:00 AM on Saturdays) will be shipped the same day via DHL. Delivery within Germany typically takes 1 to 2 business days, to other EU countries 2 to 4 business days, and to the United Kingdom 3 to 5 business days. You will always receive a tracking number so you can check the status of your delivery at any time.

How much are the shipping costs for this Bearbrick?

We offer free shipping within the European Union for orders over €75. For orders below this amount, we charge a flat shipping fee of €4.90 for deliveries within Germany and €7.90 for other EU countries. For UK customers, the shipping fee is GBP 10.00 with a minimum order value of GBP 140.00. We cover all customs duties and import taxes for you.

What payment options do I have?

At MyBearBrick.de you can pay securely and conveniently using various payment methods, including PayPal, Klarna (purchase on account), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express).

What happens if I don't like the Bearbrick or it arrives damaged?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If, contrary to expectations, you don't like a Bearbrick or it's damaged, you have a 30-day free return policy. Simply contact us by phone, email, or chat, and we'll send you a prepaid DHL return label. Once we receive your return, we'll, of course, refund the full purchase price, including any shipping costs.

Will I receive a certificate of authenticity for this Bearbrick?

For all Bearbricks 200% and larger (including 100%+400% sets), we at Zaiser Art Gallery issue an additional Certificate of Authenticity for your records. This underscores our commitment and conviction to offering only genuine Medicom Toy products.

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy's production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
