Product description

Ever since their cinema debut in “Ich – Einfach unverbesserlich”, the yellow henchmen from Illumination have become an inseparable part of pop culture. Kevin is one of the best-known among them: with his tall build and two big eyes behind his goggles, he takes on the role of the dutiful leader in the film “Minions”, setting off in search of a new boss. In the Costume Version, Medicom Toy transfers this character onto the distinctive Bearbrick silhouette, turning the familiar collectible figure into a soft, textile work of art.

Instead of a smooth painted surface, fluffy, sunny yellow plush fur covers the body. The goggles are elaborately embroidered: grey lenses with black rivet outlines, white eyeballs and brown pupils beneath heavy, half-closed lids. Together with the embroidered, downturned mouth, this creates that wonderfully bored, grumpy look that is sure to make you smile. At the back of the head, the black goggle strap runs all the way round. The denim-look dungarees impress with yellow decorative stitching, small black buttons on the straps, patch side pockets and the chest pocket with the black Gru logo. Black plush gloves and shoes as well as transparent ears round off the harmonious overall look.

The model is released in 2025 as a single in the large 400% format, which really brings out the loving fabric workmanship. It is precisely the combination of the unmistakable Bearbrick shape and the cuddly costume design that makes this figure so appealing to collectors, as it appeals to the eye and the hand alike. The comic-style packaging with banana motifs and the typical “BELLO!” lettering also carries a du-al.io label for authentication.
