Product description

Few works have shaped the cyberpunk aesthetic as lastingly as Masamune Shirow's cult manga Ghost in the Shell. Since 1989, the story of cyborg agent Motoko Kusanagi and the special unit Section 9 has fascinated fans worldwide with its profound questions about identity, consciousness, and the relationship between humans and machines. With the BE@RBRICK Motoko Kusanagi (Manga Version) [Ghost in the Shell] (100%+400%), Medicom Toy brings the legendary main character directly from the pages of the original manga into collectors' display cases – a tribute to one of the most influential science fiction franchises ever.

The Bearbrick perfectly captures Motoko in her iconic appearance: the angular, blue hair with its sharp strands and the concentrated, shimmering violet eyes give the head an intense, determined expression. The body is designed as a battle-ready cyborg – a white-pearlescent finish with a soft shimmer recreates her mechanical-human body, including hinted muscle contours on the chest and abdomen. Particularly refined are the orange-gold color gradients on the back and arms, as well as the fine honeycomb patterns that refer to her synthetic skin. The translucent, bluish-glossy feet and ears complete the futuristic appearance and create exciting light reflections.

The set combines two sizes in a proven combination: the compact 100% Bearbrick with a height of around 7 cm and the imposing 400% Bearbrick with a height of about 28 cm. While the small version is ideal as a subtle eye-catcher, the large figure fully unfolds its effect with all details and the iridescent mother-of-pearl finish. As part of Medicom Toy's Ghost in the Shell series, this model is a coveted collector's item that authentically celebrates the manga original and clearly distinguishes itself from the numerous film adaptations.

Whether you're a die-hard Ghost in the Shell fan, a cyberpunk lover, or a passionate Bearbrick collector – this set is a must-have for anyone who appreciates cult status and high-quality craftsmanship. As an impressive decorative object or a special gift, Motoko will delight any collection. Secure this limited duo before it's gone.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there's no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector's item in its own right and important for preserving the model's value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colors and material over time and ensure long-term value retention.

How quickly will my order be shipped and how long will delivery take?

Orders received by 2:00 PM on weekdays (11:00 AM on Saturdays) will be shipped the same day via DHL. Delivery within Germany typically takes 1 to 2 business days, to other EU countries 2 to 4 business days, and to the United Kingdom 3 to 5 business days. You will always receive a tracking number so you can check the status of your delivery at any time.

How much are the shipping costs for this Bearbrick?

We offer free shipping within the European Union for orders over €75. For orders below this amount, we charge a flat shipping fee of €4.90 for deliveries within Germany and €7.90 for other EU countries. For UK customers, the shipping fee is GBP 10.00 with a minimum order value of GBP 140.00. We cover all customs duties and import taxes for you.

What payment options do I have?

At MyBearBrick.de you can pay securely and conveniently using various payment methods, including PayPal, Klarna (purchase on account), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express).

What happens if I don't like the Bearbrick or it arrives damaged?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If, contrary to expectations, you don't like a Bearbrick or it's damaged, you have a 30-day free return policy. Simply contact us by phone, email, or chat, and we'll send you a prepaid DHL return label. Once we receive your return, we'll, of course, refund the full purchase price, including any shipping costs.

Will I receive a certificate of authenticity for this Bearbrick?

For all Bearbricks 200% and larger (including 100%+400% sets), we at Zaiser Art Gallery issue an additional Certificate of Authenticity for your records. This underscores our commitment and conviction to offering only genuine Medicom Toy products.

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy's production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
