Product description

With this extraordinary Bearbrick, you can add a piece of cosmic history to your collection. The collaboration between Medicom Toy and NASA pays tribute to the legendary Hubble Space Telescope, which has revolutionized our understanding of the universe for over three decades. The centerpiece is a breathtaking image of the Lagoon Nebula (Messier 8), a gigantic star-forming region in the constellation Sagittarius, located approximately 4,000 to 6,000 light-years from Earth. This emission nebula region spans an impressive 140 by 60 light-years and is among the brightest and most active star-forming areas in the night sky.

The two figures impress with their high-quality water transfer printing technique, which perfectly captures the nebula's fascinating interplay of colors. Luminous turquoise and blue tones blend with deep orange, red, and violet hues to create a cosmic work of art that depicts the nebula's ionized gases and dark dust clouds. The front of the figure bears the precise inscription "Lagoon Nebula Messier 8" and indicates its distance of 4,000 light-years. The Hubble Space Telescope emblem, along with the characteristic slogan "30 Years of Exploration," on the back underscores the scientific significance of this officially NASA-licensed collaboration.

The arms, legs, and ears also feature the breathtaking nebula motif, creating a consistently harmonious overall impression. Measuring 7 cm (100%) and 28 cm (400%) in height, the two figures form an impressive duo for any Bearbrick collector. Whether as a tribute to space exploration history, a statement of scientific discoveries, or a visual highlight in your designer toy collection, this set combines astronomical aesthetics with iconic collector value.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there's no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector's item in its own right and important for preserving the model's value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colors and material over time and ensure long-term value retention.

How quickly will my order be shipped and how long will delivery take?

Orders received by 2:00 PM on weekdays (11:00 AM on Saturdays) will be shipped the same day via DHL. Delivery within Germany typically takes 1 to 2 business days. Deliveries to other EU countries or Switzerland typically take 2 to 4 business days. You will always receive a tracking number so you can check the status of your delivery at any time.

How much are the shipping costs for this Bearbrick?

We offer free shipping within the European Union for orders over €75. For orders below this amount, we charge a flat shipping fee of €4.90 for deliveries within Germany and €7.90 for other EU countries. For customers in Switzerland or UK, the shipping fee is CHF 10.00 or GBP 10.00 respectively, with a minimum order value of CHF 75 or GBP 75. We cover all customs duties and import taxes for you.

What payment options do I have?

At MyBearBrick.de you can pay securely and conveniently using various payment methods, including PayPal, Klarna (purchase on account), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express).

What happens if I don't like the Bearbrick or it arrives damaged?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If, contrary to expectations, you don't like a Bearbrick or it's damaged, you have a 30-day free return policy. Simply contact us by phone, email, or chat, and we'll send you a prepaid DHL return label. Once we receive your return, we'll, of course, refund the full purchase price, including any shipping costs.

Will I receive a certificate of authenticity for this Bearbrick?

For all Bearbricks 200% and larger (including 100%+400% sets), we at Zaiser Art Gallery issue an additional Certificate of Authenticity for your records. This underscores our commitment and conviction to offering only genuine Medicom Toy products.

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy's production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
