The centerpiece is a breathtaking image of the Lagoon Nebula (Messier 8), a gigantic star-forming region in the constellation Sagittarius, located approximately 4,000 to 6,000 light-years from Earth. This emission nebula region spans an impressive 140 by 60 light-years and is among the brightest and most active star-forming areas in the night sky.
The two figures impress with their high-quality water transfer printing technique, which perfectly captures the nebula's fascinating interplay of colors.
