The Oasis concerts at Knebworth on August 10th and 11th, 1996, are considered the absolute pinnacle of the Britpop era and are among the most legendary live events in British music history. Over 2.6 million people, roughly 5 percent of the British population, tried to get their hands on tickets. Only 250,000 lucky fans were able to experience the two sold-out nights, during which Oasis, at the zenith of their success, united a generation with hits like "Wonderwall," "Don't Look Back In Anger," and "Champagne Supernova." The concerts took place just nine months after the release of "(What's The Story) Morning Glory?" and marked the moment when the Gallagher brothers from Manchester truly made history. Noel Gallagher opened both shows with the words "We're all making history tonight," a prophecy that proved absolutely accurate. The Knebworth shows were celebrated in 2021 with a documentary and a live album that captured the cultural significance of that weekend for an entire generation.
This exclusive Bearbrick set, available in 100% and 400% sizes, pays tribute to Noel Gallagher in his iconic Knebworth 1996 look.
