Product details

Product description

Pete, as he's known in English-speaking countries, is one of the oldest villains in the Disney universe, having even made his first appearance before Mickey Mouse. He debuted in the 1925 short film "Alice Solves the Puzzle" and has since secured his place in pop culture as the grim adversary of Mickey, Goofy, and Donald. Medicom Toy is now dedicating a Bearbrick from their "Mickey & Friends" series to this iconic villain, giving the burly feline a whole new stage on the collector's shelf.

The design of this Bearbricks perfectly captures Pete's distinctive personality. The head features his typically grim face with a wide-open mouth, visible canines, narrowed eyes, and his signature brown ear on the right side. Even the small lightning bolt on his black skull is depicted in meticulous detail. The torso is a rich black, crossed diagonally by a blue overall strap fastened at the front and back with a prominent button. Fine black lines suggest the folds in the fabric around the button, adding surprising depth to the design. The legs are entirely in vibrant blue, forming the lower part of the overalls, including a printed patch on the right leg—a charming detail that hints at Pete's rugged character. The white hands and gloves complete the classic Disney look.

As a 400% scale model, this Bearbrick measures approximately 28 cm, making it an impressive standout piece. Within the "Mickey & Friends" series, Pete joins the ranks of the more popular characters, and this is precisely what makes him stand out – while Mickey and Donald exist in numerous variations, Bearbrick versions of Disney's original villain are significantly rarer. This makes this model a special find for collectors who value completeness or who deliberately prefer the more unusual characters.

Whether as an eye-catching centerpiece in a Disney display case, as an addition to an existing Bearbrick collection, or as a unique gift for fans of classic Disney cartoons – this Pete brings charmingly roguish energy to any collection. Anyone who wants to see the Disney universe through more than just rose-tinted hero glasses will appreciate this Bearbrick with genuine character and rare collector potential.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there's no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector's item in its own right and important for preserving the model's value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colors and material over time and ensure long-term value retention.

How quickly will my order be shipped and how long will delivery take?

Orders received by 2:00 PM on weekdays (11:00 AM on Saturdays) will be shipped the same day via DHL. Delivery within Germany typically takes 1 to 2 business days. Deliveries to other EU countries or Switzerland typically take 2 to 4 business days. You will always receive a tracking number so you can check the status of your delivery at any time.

How much are the shipping costs for this Bearbrick?

We offer free shipping within the European Union for orders over €75. For orders below this amount, we charge a flat shipping fee of €4.90 for deliveries within Germany and €7.90 for other EU countries. For customers in Switzerland or UK, the shipping fee is CHF 10.00 or GBP 10.00 respectively, with a minimum order value of CHF 75 or GBP 75. We cover all customs duties and import taxes for you.

What payment options do I have?

At MyBearBrick.de you can pay securely and conveniently using various payment methods, including PayPal, Klarna (purchase on account), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express).

What happens if I don't like the Bearbrick or it arrives damaged?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If, contrary to expectations, you don't like a Bearbrick or it's damaged, you have a 30-day free return policy. Simply contact us by phone, email, or chat, and we'll send you a prepaid DHL return label. Once we receive your return, we'll, of course, refund the full purchase price, including any shipping costs.

Will I receive a certificate of authenticity for this Bearbrick?

For all Bearbricks 200% and larger (including 100%+400% sets), we at Zaiser Art Gallery issue an additional Certificate of Authenticity for your records. This underscores our commitment and conviction to offering only genuine Medicom Toy products.

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy's production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
