BE@RBRICK Series 14 Jellybean "Wine" (100%)

With Series 14, Medicom Toy continued its successful line of blind box Bearbricks in 2007, whose contents are only revealed when you open the packaging. A fixed part of these series is the Jellybean theme, which does without any printed designs and instead relies entirely on the effect of the material. The BE@RBRICK Series 14 Jellybean "Wine" (100%) impressively shows how much expression a single, cleverly chosen colour can hold.

The Bearbrick is made from translucent plastic in a deep wine red reminiscent of a fine red wine in the glass. Depending on how the light falls, the figure's character changes: in subdued surroundings it appears almost blackish-brown and mysterious, while in direct light it glows in warm ruby and burgundy tones. The glossy surface catches reflections and emphasises the typical silhouette with the round ears, the compact head and the angular legs. Thanks to the transparency, even the joints at the head, arms, hands and legs remain faintly visible, which gives the model a special depth and makes it look like a piece of fruit gum in figure form.

The Bearbrick comes as a single figure in the classic 100% format, standing around 7 cm tall. This means it fits in any display cabinet, on any desk and on any shelf. For collectors, the model, as part of Series 14 from 2007, is a piece of early Bearbrick history, and the Jellybean figures in particular can be wonderfully combined into colour-rich, light-filled arrangements.

Place it by the window or under display cabinet lighting and watch the light refract in the rich red. Whether as an addition to your series collection, as a minimalist design object or as a stylish gift for wine lovers and design fans: this Bearbrick impresses through pure colour and form.
