Bearbrick Series 23 Animal "Panda" [Rune Naito] 100% Begleitkarte — With the original Medicom Toy card

This charming Bearbrick comes from Series 23 and pays tribute to the work of Rune Naito, the legendary Japanese illustrator regarded as one of the pioneers of kawaii culture. As early as the 1950s and 1960s, Naito's cute motifs of girls and animals shaped a lifestyle that had a lasting influence on Japanese pop culture. His heart-warming panda is among his best-known creations and finds a loving three-dimensional interpretation in this model from the Animal category.

The figure shows a classic panda in the typical black-and-white contrast: a white head and body meet deep black ears, arms and legs. The face is the real star – large, expressive eyes with curved lashes, black eye patches, a small button nose and a gently smiling mouth give the panda its unmistakably friendly charm. Pink-tinted cheeks add a playful accent, while a bright red, glossy heart on the chest perfectly rounds off the charming touch and lends the otherwise matt finish a lively contrast.

As a single in 100% format, this Bearbrick stands around 7 cm tall and fits perfectly into any collection. It is part of the sought-after Series 23 from 2011 and impresses with its combination of timeless illustrative art and the iconic Bearbrick format. For fans of Japanese kawaii aesthetics and lovers of charming animal motifs, it is a special find.

Whether as a lovely detail on your shelf, as a nostalgic homage to a great artist or as a gift for anyone who appreciates cute designs – this panda wins hearts in no time. Grab it while this charming collector's piece is still available, and secure yourself a piece of Japanese pop culture history.

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there’s no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector’s item in its own right and important for preserving the model’s value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colours and material over time.

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy’s production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
