Bearbrick Series 23 Cute "Korilakkuma" [Rilakkuma] 100% Begleitkarte — With the original Medicom Toy card

Korilakkuma is one of the most popular characters from the Rilakkuma universe, created by Japanese designer Aki Kondo for San-X. The little cream-white bear with the red button is Rilakkuma's curious companion and stands for carefree playfulness and the charming kawaii style that has found fans far beyond Japan. As part of the BE@RBRICK Series 23 from 2011, placed in the "Cute" category, Medicom Toy skilfully translates this lovable character into the iconic Bearbrick format, building a bridge between collectible figure and designer toy.

Visually, this model impresses with its soft, cream-coloured base tone, which perfectly captures Korilakkuma's typical fur colour. The insides of the ears and the hands are finished in a delicate pink, adding friendly accents. The simple face with its round black eyes and distinctive snout radiates exactly the relaxed cosiness the character is known for. On the chest sits the characteristic little red button above a light oval belly patch – an unmistakable feature that gives the model its lovingly detailed look.

This set consists of a single figure in the handy 100% format, standing around 7 cm tall. As is usual for Bearbricks, the body is articulated at several points and can be posed in various ways. As a representative of Series 23, this model is aimed at collectors who appreciate both the Bearbrick universe and the charming world of Rilakkuma and would like to add a particularly endearing figure to their display cabinet.

Whether as a cute eye-catcher on your desk, as an addition to an existing collection or as a gift for fans of Japanese pop culture – this Bearbrick combines kawaii aesthetics with the cult status of the Medicom Toy series. Grab it and bring a piece of Rilakkuma charm home in the unmistakable Bearbrick design.

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there’s no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector’s item in its own right and important for preserving the model’s value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colours and material over time.

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy’s production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
