BE@RBRICK Series 25 Horror "Chucky" [Child's Play 2] (100%)

With BE@RBRICK Series 25, Medicom Toy turns to the theme of Horror – and brings one of the genre's most notorious cult figures into the familiar bear silhouette. This edition interprets Chucky from the slasher classic "Child's Play 2", that seemingly harmless "Good Guy" doll in which the soul of a serial killer has taken up residence. The appeal lies precisely in this contrast: what looks cute at first glance carries the eerie aura of a horror icon on closer inspection – perfectly captured in the standardised Bearbrick format.

The head shows the doll's characteristic features: strawberry-blond hair with finely drawn strands, freckled cheeks, deeply flushed cheeks and bright blue eyes, plus a wide painted-on smile. The body is dressed in the iconic blue dungarees with the red "Good Guys" lettering on the chest pocket and printed tool motifs – hammers, knives, screwdrivers and helmets, playfully scattered across the torso and legs. The sleeves and trouser hems feature colourful vertical and horizontal stripes, while the red trainers complete the unmistakable look of the film doll. The matt finish underlines the authentic doll character.

This model comes in 100% format at around 7 cm tall as a single figure within Series 25 from 2012. As a licensed rendition of a true horror legend, it is doubly attractive to collectors: as part of the sought-after numbered Bearbrick series and as a tribute to one of the best-known film villains of all time.

Whether as an eye-catcher on your collector's shelf, as a tongue-in-cheek contrast between childlike innocence and horror, or as a gift for fans of cult horror and designer toys – this figure combines nostalgia, pop culture and a passion for collecting. If you love horror icons, you should grab it before this piece is gone for good.
