With Series 31, Medicom Toy released one of the densest and most thematic standard editions in Bearbrick history in December 2015. Pop culture licenses, Japanese artistic styles, and classic collector categories intertwined to form a coherent overall picture – an edition where Hollywood horror, superhero pathos, gaming aesthetics, and Japanese subculture stood side by side on equal footing.

The content ranged from the iconic Xenomorph from Ridley Scott's Alien universe to a martially armored Batman from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and a pixelated Creeper from the world of Minecraft. In addition, the categorical classics of the series – Basic, Flag, Pattern, Jellybean, Horror, Animal, and Cute – provided design diversity, ranging from floral black-and-white patterns to crystal-clear translucency with glitter particles, warm color fields, and bold striped looks.

Yusuke Hanai contributed particular artistic depth with his drawing style influenced by Japanese surf and outsider art, as did Yokai Mames with his whimsical, monstrous character heads from his own universe. The result was an edition that merged formal Bearbrick tradition with artistic individuality and remains one of the most sought-after editions of its time.

The sealed individual box contains one figure from this spectrum in the classic 100% format, approximately 7 cm tall – which one it is, you'll only discover upon unpacking. Add to your collection specifically, hunt for a missing variant, or enter one of the most versatile Bearbrick editions at an uncomplicated entry price.

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there’s no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector’s item in its own right and important for preserving the model’s value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colours and material over time.

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy’s production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
