Product description

There are film scenes that are forever etched into the collective memory of horror cinema – the opening sequence of IT (2017) is one of them. On a stormy autumn day in October 1988 in Derry, Maine, six-year-old Georgie Denbrough races a paper boat, origamied by his older brother Bill and named "SS Georgie," through flooded streets until it disappears down a storm drain. What follows is one of the most famous and harrowing horror scenes of recent decades: the encounter with Pennywise the Dancing Clown, who emerges from the sewers and lures the child with false friendliness and red balloons, only to brutally kill him. This scene – played by the then eight-year-old Jackson Robert Scott – not only sets the tone for the entire film but also became the emotional foundation of the story.

Georgie's death is far more than just the opening scene of a horror film. It's the traumatic core that drives Bill Denbrough and his friends, the "Losers' Club," back to Derry 27 years later. The guilt Bill feels for sending his sick little brother out alone that day runs like a thread through both IT films. Pennywise repeatedly uses Georgie's appearance to psychologically torment Bill—a gruesome reminder of innocence, loss, and the inability to protect those we love. Jackson Robert Scott's performance as Georgie perfectly captured this innocence: large, trusting eyes, an open smile, and the naive curiosity of a child who cannot yet recognize the danger.

The iconic yellow raincoat became the film's visual symbol—bright and hopeful like childhood itself, yet simultaneously an emblem of loss. When Medicom Toy immortalized Georgie as a SECRET Bearbrick for Series 36, they created not just a collector's item, but a memorial to one of the most memorable characters in modern horror cinema. SECRET Bearbricks are the rarest figures in blind box series—they appear with extremely low odds and are only pulled by the lucky few, making them highly sought-after rarities.

This Bearbrick captures Georgie's look in heartbreaking detail: the bright yellow hooded raincoat with black buttons dominates the figure, while the dark blue trousers and green wellies complete the classic look of a child on a rainy day. The face, with its large brown eyes, short bangs, and slightly worried expression, captures the innocence of the moment—just before everything falls apart. For collectors, this SECRET Bearbrick is not just a rare find, but a connection to a story about childhood, trauma, and the monsters that lurk in the dark.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector's item in its own right and important for preserving the model's value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colors and material over time and ensure long-term value retention.

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy's production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
