This compact 100% version of Hugly from the BE@RBRICK Series 48 brings the unmistakable charm of the legendary Japanese brand SWIMMER to your collection in a handy format. At approximately 7 centimeters tall, this Bearbrick is the perfect size for a desk, shelf, or as a travel companion. Founded in 1987 in Tokyo's trendy Daikanyama district, SWIMMER shaped Japanese kawaii culture for over three decades with pastel-colored designs full of hearts, fruit, and cute characters. After closing in 2018 and making a successful comeback through PATTY'S in 2020, these sophisticated designs are now experiencing a renaissance.
Hugly, one of the most beloved SWIMMER characters, embodies everything the brand stands for: pure, heartwarming cuteness in a signature pastel style. This Bearbrick, rendered in delicate turquoise, features the characteristic pink and white bows on its head and chest, giving Hugly his distinctive look.
