Product details

Product description

This exceptional Bearbrick from Series 6, released in June 2003, belongs to the horror category and features a design by legendary underground artist Pushead. With its phosphorescent glow-in-the-dark feature, this Bearbrick embodies the perfect symbiosis of designer toy culture and subcultural art history. The creamy white base with golden yellow accents creates an understated appearance by day, while at night the figure glows in a ghostly green, revealing a completely new dimension.

Pushead, whose real name is Brian Schroeder, is considered an icon of the hardcore punk and metal scene of the 1980s and 1990s. His detailed, macabre skull illustrations shaped the visual identity of bands like Metallica, Misfits, and Septic Death. As the lead singer of his own band, Septic Death, as label owner of Pusmort Records, and above all as an artist, Pushead created a distinctive style that combines weathered skulls, anatomical details, and horror aesthetics with delicate linework. His work for the skateboard magazine Thrasher, for Zorlac Skateboards, and later for Nike SB made him a cult figure in the streetwear scene beyond music.

This Bearbrick features signature Pushed elements: the golden-yellow graphic motifs on the head and face, as well as the distinctive orange "at" symbol on the chest, which establishes a connection to the BE@RBRICK brand. The Spider-Eye theme, which, according to the official description, underlies this design, combines Pushed's horror aesthetic with the playful Bearbrick shape. GID technology transforms this collectible Bearbrick into a glow-in-the-dark art object, perfectly capturing the eerie atmosphere of Pushed's work.

This Bearbrick from the early Series 6 is a historic document of the designer toy movement, documenting the collaboration between Japanese toy culture and American underground art. For fans of horror aesthetics, metal culture, skateboarding history, or simply exceptional collectibles, this phosphorescent Push-Head Bearbrick is an absolute must-have. It proves that the line between high culture and subculture has long since dissolved—and that the best often glows in the dark.

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there's no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector's item in its own right and important for preserving the model's value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colors and material over time and ensure long-term value retention.

How quickly will my order be shipped and how long will delivery take?

Orders received by 2:00 PM on weekdays (11:00 AM on Saturdays) will be shipped the same day via DHL. Delivery within Germany typically takes 1 to 2 business days. Deliveries to other EU countries or Switzerland typically take 2 to 4 business days. You will always receive a tracking number so you can check the status of your delivery at any time.

How much are the shipping costs for this Bearbrick?

We offer free shipping within the European Union for orders over €75. For orders below this amount, we charge a flat shipping fee of €4.90 for deliveries within Germany and €7.90 for other EU countries. For customers in Switzerland or UK, the shipping fee is CHF 10.00 or GBP 10.00 respectively, with a minimum order value of CHF 75 or GBP 75. We cover all customs duties and import taxes for you.

What happens if I don't like the Bearbrick or it arrives damaged?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If, contrary to expectations, you don't like a Bearbrick or it's damaged, you have a 30-day free return policy. Simply contact us by phone, email, or chat, and we'll send you a prepaid DHL return label. Will I receive a certificate of authenticity for this Bearbrick?

For all Bearbricks 200% and larger (including 100%+400% sets), we at Zaiser Art Gallery issue an additional Certificate of Authenticity for your records. This underscores our commitment and conviction to offering only genuine Medicom Toy products.

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy's production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
