Product description
When two legendary names from the Japanese design and streetwear scene meet, a collector's item of rare brilliance is created. The BE@RBRICK Sorayama × BAPE® Camo Shark Silver (100%+400%) combines the futuristic imagery of "Sexy Robot" creator Hajime Sorayama with the iconic Shark motif and the Camo signature of A BATHING APE®. Released in 2021, two cult aesthetics merge here to form a figure that appears both retro-futuristic and unmistakably streetwear-influenced.
The centerpiece is the chrome-plated surface, which gives the bear a metallic, glossy, almost liquid look – Sorayama's signature, playfully capturing reflections and light. The fine, lightly contoured BAPE® Camo pattern runs across the body, only becoming visible upon closer inspection. The famous Shark-Face with its characteristic zipper line and bared teeth adorns the head, while the chest bears the typical ventilation slots and the BAPE lettering. The back makes a clear artistic statement with the striking SORAYAMA logo.
The set comes as a mixed-size combination with a large 400% figure of approximately 28 cm in height and a small 100% figure of about 7 cm in height. Both share the same chrome-plated design and complement each other as an impressive duo for the display case.
