Product description

Almost three decades after the groundbreaking original in 1982, Disney dared to return to the digital cosmos of the Grid in 2010 with Tron: Legacy. Director Joseph Kosinski staged young Sam Flynn's search for his missing father Kevin, played by Jeff Bridges, as a visually stunning neon trip, whose soundtrack by Daft Punk still enjoys cult status today. The aesthetic of deep black and glowing light trails shaped an entire generation of science fiction design – and it is precisely this imagery that this Bearbrick carries on its compact body.

The body of the 70% figure is black and traversed by filigree, light blue glowing lines that recreate the iconic light suits of the Grid inhabitants. A printed blue helmet sits on its head, revealing a human face underneath – just like hero Sam Flynn in his combat suit. The approximately 5 cm tall figure comes with a carrying strap, in the style of Japanese cinema goodies of its time.

And that's exactly what it is: a promotional item never regularly sold for the Japanese cinema release on December 17, 2010. The printed original packaging advertises the worldwide simultaneous film release and bears, in addition to the Disney logo and Medicom branding, the Japanese spelling of the title in glowing blue – an authentic piece of campaign history that never made its way into general retail.

If you love the Grid or want to expand your collection with a true Japanese cinema rarity, this little program warrior is your next upgrade.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there's no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector's item in its own right and important for preserving the model's value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colors and material over time and ensure long-term value retention.

How quickly will my order be shipped and how long will delivery take?

Orders received by 2:00 PM on weekdays (11:00 AM on Saturdays) will be shipped the same day via DHL. Delivery within Germany typically takes 1 to 2 business days, to other EU countries 2 to 4 business days, and to the United Kingdom 3 to 5 business days. You will always receive a tracking number so you can check the status of your delivery at any time.

How much are the shipping costs for this Bearbrick?

We offer free shipping within the European Union for orders over €75. For orders below this amount, we charge a flat shipping fee of €4.90 for deliveries within Germany and €7.90 for other EU countries. For UK customers, the shipping fee is GBP 10.00 with a minimum order value of GBP 140.00. We cover all customs duties and import taxes for you.

What payment options do I have?

At MyBearBrick.de you can pay securely and conveniently using various payment methods, including PayPal, Klarna (purchase on account), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express).

What happens if I don't like the Bearbrick or it arrives damaged?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If, contrary to expectations, you don't like a Bearbrick or it's damaged, you have a 30-day free return policy. Simply contact us by phone, email, or chat, and we'll send you a prepaid DHL return label. Once we receive your return, we'll, of course, refund the full purchase price, including any shipping costs.

Will I receive a certificate of authenticity for this Bearbrick?

For all Bearbricks 200% and larger (including 100%+400% sets), we at Zaiser Art Gallery issue an additional Certificate of Authenticity for your records. This underscores our commitment and conviction to offering only genuine Medicom Toy products.

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy's production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
